The Cap-Tones was the brain child of Sax player Joe B 1 and Drummer Brian E "the Eagle" over a cup of coffee and a smoke. Starting out with front woman the Talented Sarah Dill. The Capitol City Soul Tones (as they were then known) began their journey into the distinct dance grooves of funk and soul music. Covering such artists as "James Brown, Curtis Mayfield and Stevie Wonder" to name a few.
Shortly after the announcement of front woman Sarah Dill's departure in the winter of 08-09 the now renamed "Cap-Tones" began writing and preforming original songs for your booty shaken enjoyment!
