Their style also merges traditional, progressive folk, bluegrass, and southern rock into a brew that pleases even skeptics of country music. Originally from Baton Rouge, LA, the band has developed a loyal following throughout the Southeast as well as in Texas. Fans appreciate their vintage style and honest story telling.

Talented songwriters and entertainers, their live shows are a high energy party where everyone has a good time. The Captain Legendary Band has shared the stage with many of the great songwriter/ performers of our time.... including Robert Earl Keen, Billy Joe Shaver, Kinky Friedman, and Rust Weir.
Their debut album "Those Song's" recived was well recieved by fans and critics alike.

The Captain Legendary Band's line up includes Charlie Hager on Vocals and Guitars, Aaron Bancroft on Guitars, Jason Spencer on Harmonica, Mandolin, and Slide Guitar, Jeff Hager on Bass, and Wace Wilke on Drums. The Band has been nominated for several awards in Texas including Live Band of the Year by the Acadamy of Texas Music in 2006 and 2007.
