“Simply put, this band is at the top of their game and they certainly take advantage of their plus-sized band with an interactive live show to boot.”

Matthew Hogan, Drum Media
“This party jam is big, brash and...well, Goliath really (on the single)”
—
Caz Tran, Triple J
“Easily the highlight of the night, they're one act you should go out of your way to see live!”
—
Travis Johnson, Xpress Magazine
“They should be seen live by everyone. Again and again and again.”
—
Anne Johnsen, Fasterlouder
“Lead singer Nicholas Owen had the crowd in his grasp, jumping on command as MC Rezide was given celebrity status during their last track Goliath, as a handful of girls at the front were almost in tears with their performance.”
—
Fletchus, inthemix
“This band are what showbiz is all about.”

Drum Media, Miguel Cuevas
“I got to witness The Brow Horn Orchestra, who have so many members they nearly couldn't fit on the stage! Special kudos to their sax player who not only plays tambourine but sings as well.”
—
Dom Alessio, Triple J
“Nine-piece The Brow Horn Orchestra are a seriously funky and fun hip-hop outfit, whose dynamic and charismatic performance quickly drew a large crowd. With myriad instruments ranging from horns (for once, the tuba actually looks like a cool instrument), clarinet, keyboard, bass, guitar and drums, it was a surprise that they were even able to fit everyone onto the stage, let alone jump around. MC Rezide was a mini-spectacle unto himself, from his impassioned delivery, energetic pounding of the cowbell (all songs need more cowbell) and his foray into the crowd with a megaphone. Brow Horn Orchestra also conjured a carnival atmosphere half-way through their set with some light twirling and juggling. They left with a little, "Love you." Love you too, Brow Horn Orchestra.”

Sichi, Fasterlouder
“Impossible to dislike.”

Ben Watson, Xpress Magazine
“I am no doubt repeating every other Perth music writer who has seen them by saying they have the potential to be big. Really big. They have a fantastic live sound with an energy that is so infectious that if you aren’t up dancing or moving by the second song you may very well be a little dead inside. They mix and flit through genres so easily it’s hard to keep up, they’ll move seamlessly from ska and reggae into a blistering rap interjection by their MC NDORSE, who cuts a mercurial figure up on stage. "Goliath" and "We Were Where The Heart Is" were by far the best songs of a set high in quality.”

Simon Clark, The AU Review
“With unadulterated energy, the group defies anyone not to at least tap a foot to their contagious concoctions.”
—
Laura Glitsos, Xpress Magazine
“The music was diverse and ranged from some African sounding beats to rap duets on behalf of two of the vocalists. The act played some of their well known songs such as 'We Were Where the Heart is', which really pleased the crowd.”
