The Brave was birthed out of founding members Matt Griffith and Rodger van Raalte's ambition to write edgy melodic indie songs, have an EP produced, and form a highly accessible Indie Rock band.
Through expansive combined experience an exciting direction was formed, and an EP recorded with renowned locally based producer Caleb James after good friend and drummer Mikey Mann also joined the band and provided more valuable experience and songwriting gifting.
The final parts of the puzzle were put in place with bass player Callum Galloway and guitarist/keyboardist Matt Larner (both members of other exciting new bands) joined The Brave and the live show was complete. With the new EP and a rapidly growing fanbase and reputation, 2008 is shaping up to be very exciting for this passionate group of artists!
