The Bonaventure Quartet returns after their sell-out performance at Red Light Café earlier this year! Once again featuring the sultry, silky voice of former Lost Continentals front woman Amy Pike, BVQ is a smoldering melting pot of classic jazz, western swing and Southern sass – all infused with the gypsy-jazz stylings of Django Reinhardt. 9 String Theory opens, featuring John Huston on guitar and Angelina Galashenkova-Reed on domra.
The Bonaventure Quartet is a unique group which hails from Atlanta and is one of the premier gypsyjazz/original swing music groups in America. "With the sultry, silky voice of former Lost Continentals front woman Amy Pike and the gypsy-jazz flavored guitar of Charles Williams, Bonaventure is a marvelous melting pot. They add Southern sass to the smokey jazz of Parisian cabarets between the world wars on their new album, The Secret Seduction of the Grand Pompadour". - Shane Harrison, Atlanta Journal Constitution
