More About The Artist

The Black Year started when they were just 7 years old, playing with one electric guitar, and 3 drums as the drumkit, and no experience as a band whatsoever, but had the strong passion for music they have had that got them where they are today. The Black Year are now 13 Years of age and have recorded their first Album "After The Storm" with an incredible amount of Success.
Sam Koster (Drums, Backup Vocals) has been playing since he was just 6 years old. Listening to music such as Nirvana, Foo Fighters at a young age, sam was very influenced and began writing songs. Jack Steward (Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals) met Sam Koster in Year 1, were they became best friends and started the band. Jack, had lots of musical influences in his young age but his main musical hero was Elvis Presley. Stephen Reinhart has known Sam and Jack since year 3, and was in love with music just as much as them at that age.
So they decided to get serious, and start writing and practising songs since. And after 2 years of writing songs they now have an album that they are very happy with.
