One year after their formation, The Black Fortys were deemed "Best College Band of 2008" by Rolling Stone Magazine and have since opened up for Nas, The Duke Spirit, Eulogies, shared a bill with Bob Dylan, Gnarls Barkely, Spoon, The Black Keys, & Black Mountain, and recorded with famed producer Brian Deck.
