This event is specifically to celebrate music and the people who make it. It is for musicians by musicians, and will include some of the best acts from the NW, on one of the most unique stages you will find. THE BEST PART IS THIS IS A FREE EVENT FOR MUSICIANS Sublimity Mountain Theater is located on Hwy 26, Less than an hour from Downtown Portland. Nestled in the trees of the Mt Hood Forrest, you will find SMT, like a jewel in the wilderness. Since this is a musician celebration, expect there to be a lot of music and dancing. Bring your instrument for the open jam Saturday morning, or play acoustically at your tent or by the fire. There will be many opportunities to collaborate and mingle too. We are expecting nearly 100 campers, who will all be involved in the music industry, as well as many others that will be arriving for the day time activities. Camping will be on a first come first serve reservation basis, but "day trippers" are welcome as well. So please feel free to invite your friends and family. To reserve you space, contact Brittanie Pearl Johnson . Camping will be available to performing musicians first, then attending musicians, and if there is anything left it will be offered to close friends and family. We expect to have a full house, so get your reservations in early. All overflow camping is being referred to MT Hood Village next door to SMT. They have spots that range from $25-$200 a night depending on how fancy you want to be. You can make your reservations here. http://www.rvonthego.com/oregon/mt-hood-village-rv-resort/ We welcome visitors, but SMT has a capacity of no more than 250 people, and we will be sticking to that very closely. So please be aware that if we are full, you may be asked to wait until space frees up. There is plenty to do on the mountain so never fear, just go for a hike, or swim, or just find a sunny patch and read. Here is our amazing line up.
