“Each song on Start Point has potential, which is what makes the release so aptly titled. It’s just that they carry some production qualms that make them incomplete. The lyrics are honest and entirely truthful, making them one of the strongest aspects of this album. To date, Bullock has almost 300 demos ready for musicians to tackle, so this is most certainly not the last we’ll be hearing of The Atlas Of Tears. It’s become obvious that things can only go up from here, and it will be interesting to hear how his music progresses on the subsequent album. Lee Bullock is the epitome of what a person can accomplish when they set their mind to it. Start Point should serve as inspiration for people far and wide trying to find their place in the world.”

Q: Dear Mr Atlas, This is Maree, I know the inspiration behind Harmony. Let me guess. A very popular song by Robert Zimmerman or should I call him Bob Dylan.

A: Greetings Maree! Thank you very much for asking a question, it is my first! I guess the inspiration behind my song Harmony is simply the state of the world right now. I wrote the lyrics not long after all of the trouble began in the Ukraine and then it progressed from there. Most of the time I compose the music first and then write lyrics to fit that music. And yes, Bob Dylan is a great great songwriter!
