“Right away I'm drawn in with a steady tempo that provides a foundation for the melody that comes in after 2nd measure...which I like. Long intros can distract from a song's integrity but that is not the case here. The story gets under way fast allowing the listener to become a part of the movie in the mind's eye that is being portrayed. Vocals give the song a grass root feel; I like the backing vocals as well. The chord progressions are simple and lets the spotlight shine on the excellent songwriting. This band reminds me a lot of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Well produced. Each track has integrity in the mix; evenly balanced throughout the arrangement. This tune will have a broad appeal in the genre of Americana music. Songwriting structure and style sound like it's straight from Austin!”
