Localpalooza is proud to announce the intial lineup for the 2013 Localpalooza Music And Arts Festival. The Fifth annual music festival will be held on Saturday October 26th at Motorworld in Virginia Beach, VA. A list of confirmed acts follows, and more will be announced in the coming weeks. The full lineup of regional artists, comedians, and DJ’s. 10 stages, over 100 acts, one epic day! The festival has grown into the largest local music festival in Virginia. “Localpalooza is a smorgasbord of comedians, artists and vendors for a one-of-a-kind event” says Kyle Bloom of Wavy TV 10. Packing a record amount of artists into one day and not leaving any genre unturned. This year’s festival not only offers Live Music and Arts but Go Kart rides, Sky Coasters, Miniature Golf, and Several VIP amenities. Artists from Virginia, DC, and Maryland will be on display as well as several musicians born and raised in Hampton Roads. Diversity is on full display again this year as Localpalooza welcomes the pure rock fury of Clutch, the reunited Post Punk legends Fairweather and X-Factors finalist and R&B star Marcus Canty. Warped Tour veterans I Am The Avalanche make their Localpalooza debut along with up and coming rock band Conditions returning for a third straight year. The epic lineup also includes the Jolley Brothers Halloween Glow Show with a full EDM like laser light show and sonic bass. Returning again this year is the Funnybone Comedy Stage featuring the best National and Regional comics Virginia and DC have to offer. Each ticket purchased will come with a free Motorworld ride this year. Localpalooza organizers are focused on providing fans with the best experience possible. An over-the-top day you will never forget! Continuing in the tradition of supporting local charities, the festival welcomes Operation Smile who will be on hand to help raise awareness.
ETC Fringe Festival After Party Presents The Action Habit ETC is the celebration of the vast talent and dedication that fuels the independent music scene. Town Point Park transforms into an organic platform for artists, comedians, authors, and musicians to flourish. Embrace The Culture (ETC) is comprised of local, regional and national artists on multiple stages along the Elizabeth River while offering local culinary, visual and salvage artists the opportunity to exhibit and sell their own talents. ETC is free and everyone is welcome. ETC festival-goers will enjoy the melodic music of the performers, the bustling brilliance of Buskers sprinkled throughout the park, the fabulous flavors from the Food Truck food court, the interesting ideologies of Independent Authors, ETC, ETC.
