Aaron Owens / Press

“Aaron Owens has a deep, rich voice that immediately commands attention, and his raw talent has earned him awards and critical praise, such as being named 2011's Arkansas Country Artist Of The Year. While awards are great, it's the music that matters, and Aaron Owens newest CD "Troublemaker" proves that this LA country boy is ready for the big stage. By the way, in Owens' world, LA stands for "Lower Arkansas." "Troublemaker," from rising country star Aaron Owens, shows exactly why this well-rounded country artist is winning awards and fans. They say you shouldn't go looking for trouble, but in this case you really should.”

“Arkansas Rockstar Magazine "Arkansas Country Artist of the Year" award winner for 2011.”

“If you are a fan of country music, then you need to check out Arkansas native Aaron Owens and his album ‘Troublemaker.’ This album is one that the second you put it in you won’t stop listening to it. Aaron has a deep country voice that can melt hearts. This album has 9 songs on it that could all be hits, but two of them became fast favorites for me. The title track ‘Troublemaker’ is considered the best song on the album by many fans. He says, “I don’t worry about what they call me because they call Jesus a troublemaker too.” It is an honest song about someone who is not afraid to tell it like it is and speak his mind. “I can't recall the last time that I conciously sat with a cd that I could play from beginning to end without flipping the skip button several times to get to the one or two songs on the cd that I bought it for. So its safe to say that I'm one of those consumers that will buy a whole cd for one song that I like and afterwards feel somewhat like I wasted more time and money than I should have. This was not the case this time with Aaron Owen's cd " Troublemaker". Aaron is a Arkansas native who has a genuine sound, great fan interaction and an ever growing base of fans from country music lovers. “I would love to tell you all how much awesome talent we have lurking in the shadows of the country music world. But that would be impossible. There are so many talented singers, writers, and musicians that you’ve never heard of. This post is about one of them. And while you may not have heard of him yet, I’m quite confident that you will. His name is Aaron Owens. He looks a little bit like Eric Durrance, at least I think he does. His CD is called “Troublemaker.” I received a review copy about a week ago, I guess. I put it in my CD player, and I have been playing it so much, that when I reached for it to play it tonight, I couldn’t find it! It was not in it’s CD jacket, and I couldn’t imagine where I put it. Then I realized this great country CD has taken up permanent residence in my CD player. http://www.countryschatter.com/2011/12/cd-review-aaron-owens-troublemaker/”

“Aaron Owens is one of the best independent country music artists in the business. The Arkansas musician's latest project, Troublemaker, is proof that you don't need a record deal to make a commercially viable album. Each of these tracks are great country music at it's best and showcase Aaron's amazing talent as a singer, songwriter and musician. Overall, Troublemaker is a very good country music album with songs that will easily fit into any major country radio station's rotation. Great musicians make great music and that is exactly what Aaron Owens has done here. I'd recommend supporting this incredible artist, because it will help keep great music alive. 3.5 out of 4!”

“Aaron Owens-In your Face Country-Music Spotlight "When we arrived the lights were dim and the dance floor was already packed, but the party had just begun. While watching Aaron Owens in front of this crowd I realized he had that kind of extreme confidence on stage that demands attention. he has exceptional talent and an insane amount of passion for his music. A rockers edge mixed with a lot of southern comfort Aaron produces a get on your feet performance that keeps everyone singing and dancing. We had such a good time that we all returned on Saturday to see it again. And now I've decided to join the large and loyal fan base that is growing throughout the south."”

“DUQUOIN ILLINOIS STATE FAIR "I was down in Hot Springs on vacation, and I went to this club and Aaron was singing," Rednour said. "His voice is incredible. He sounds like a young Waylon Jennings. I instantly knew we had to have him at the fair"”

“Arkansas Children's Hospital Benefit "Where does this mid-sized, mild mannered man get his uncanny ability to croon like the country legends of old, similar to George Jones, with vocal abilities that are breathtaking to say the least. my only explanation of where that huge Arkansas voice comes from, is a heart much bigger than Texas as he donated all of his tips to the more than worthey cause."”
