The government tells him
that he’s made too much
They’re gonna give it to a man

In this troubled world,

You know he’s holdin’ up his end
Wants to increase his profits, Maybe hire another man --

But the more that he makes,
the more the gov’t demands

He’s not a selfish man --
and he’s willin’ to lend a hand

But one thing he believes:
God helps those,
who help themselves
