“First impression: Oh dear God. That was the thought that passed through my head as I watched the boys from 10001 do lunges and stretch out on the stage of the Beaumont club. Without playing a note I knew I liked them as people. These are the kind of guys I could jam with (couple of beers involved of course). Straight out of the gate with apparently little to no sound check required these boys were in your face. 10001 mixes several different styles of rock from: alternative to thrash, hardcore to blast beat metal, even a little dirty blues thrown in there. With a guitarist that resembles Claudio from Coheed and Cambria and plays with the same passion how can you go wrong? Overall I absolutely enjoyed 10001 for a band who looks like they just came out of the garage, their music sounds like aged whiskey which to illiterate, was well thought out and absolutely amazing! They are more than welcome to start my weekend off right anytime!! ”
