Telecommunicators is the brainchild of former Non-Commissioned Officers and De Novo Dahl keyboardist Matthew Hungate. The music fuses his loves of 80's new wave, 70's glam rock, and modern industrial music with his masterful orchestral composing ability to create highly danceable, deceptively simple songs that conceal complex musical ideas. “I ran a contest a few months ago looking for FutureHits. Hundreds of entries came in, but there’s only three awards. I’ll highlight the ones that were the cream of the crop over the next few days.
In 3rd Place is the group Telecommunicators with their song “Sorrows”. This Nashville-based group is a combo throwback to new wave 80s electro, but it also throws in snippets of 90s Industrial rock in a way that feels a touch fresh. Not an easy feat in this day and age.”
