Teddi B, born Christopher L. Vaughan, wrote his first poem at the age of 7. He has always excelled in literary arts, but found his calling in early 2009, as a spoken word artist. After, what he recalls as a shaky first performance, he was 'bit by the bug' of spoken word and has become a well known figure in the st. louis Spoken word community.

In late 2009, he formed NHUSM, along with poets Cy'Real & PoeticBliss. NHUSM, at it's onset, was a concept that Teddi had carried with him for years....
