I'm an amateur guitar player.
 I play guitar since i was 15 years old. My major influence was at start mr. Joe Satriani.  One night at the Summer of 1989  i was hearing a Station radio program called: "Noites brancas do metal", when they played the song "Back to Shalla-bal" of Joe Satriani, and i recorded it on tape. I was amazed by this person's talent for the guitar, and i decided then: "I have to learn how to play this instrument! I want to play the guitar like this guy!"
 And for the next 6 years i learned by myself how to play the electric guitar...But at the end of that time ,i wasn't satisfied with my technique and knowledge of the instrument so i went to a private school of Classic guitar belonging to the Master Duarte Costa (now deciesed)
and he himself pointed me a teacher that was very competent at the time (1997).
 Later ,i received lessons from Duarte Costa himself, and a few years after that, he died (in 2003). Leaving me with some of his guitar wisdom. Since then i have been playing on my own and composing and recording some stuff in classic and electric guitars. And that's my story of my guitar learning and playing, in  short.
