Tangent Sunset originated from the San Francisco Bay Area in 2003 when radio personality Alex Cosper started TangentSunset.com and began uploading songs he had recorded with friends over the years. Those friends included Jim Brasier, Clay Bearden, John Young, Frank Simmons and others from Sacramento that played around town in their own bands and were listeners of alternative station KWOD 106.5, where Alex was program director and on the air middays for many years.
