Taba / Press

“Ceylon Radio Features TABA on their page as "The" artist for original music in Sri Lanka. They are to be found on facebook and it is the brain child of an entrepreneur in news, views and information by a gent called Manoj Alwis. It always takes a thinker who is outside the square to help the unknown artists, such as self. A thank you too to my devoted fans and I am Devoted to you too! May you be blessed! Remember, if it isn't for the fans we would be no-one. Love from TABA and Andrea who was away over the X"mas and New Year period but with thoughts of you!”

“Organisations that feature MP3's as their App can hardly afford to cast aspersions about copyright violations when they are the greatest offenders. Nor can they then retaliate and make life difficult for those who share music from other artists who have requested and allow shares via Reverbnation, or have already shared their music on youtube for example. Blocking the sharers merely causes a loss of listening power to the artists, and could include Aunty Acid shares, Winkel picture shares, information from the web. Curtailed could be pornographic sites but the biggest offenders do not really worry about this, while sharers of music have limited numbers. Genuine artists even less on numbers unless advertised. Musicians in lesser known countries only heard through Reverbnation, thus cannot afford ads.”

“Music for me is sharing, and appreciation of the creativity of people on Reverbnation who seem to have newcomers by the minute!. Fantastic! Versatile is my buzz and poetry is in lyrics, while music could be represented in its various forms. Would not have a clue what Genre I play, cos I ad lib, like most musicians do I guess, but hopeless on "Hard rock" (Smile) so I leave it to you greats! You have some brilliant backing artists! That is a fact! And you have super voices too!. Totally appreciative. I am getting a bit jaded with "Retro" and music of the 70's and 80's since it is played everywhere in nightclubs, dance halls and such, so Reverbnation is a pleasant change always.”
