Sweet Crude Bill is currently an open participation musical project headed up by original members Octavian Drulea and Dana Adams.

The original formulation of the band began in 2005 and continued to 2008, over which time the Band released an EP (vs. The Press Gang) a full length album (Rio do Oro Negro), rocked around the country on a seven week national tour and played hundreds of shows around the Bay Area.
