In late 2007 following multiple national tours and supports with Machine Head (USA), Trivium (USA), Nevermore (USA) and more, Sydney metal band SWITCHBLADE was to cease all activity, and resurface with a new album designed to re-affirm their position as a dominating force in Australian metal.

Enlisting the internationally acclaimed production services of Grammy award winning producer Neil Kernon (Nevermore, Jeff Loomis, Nile, Cannibal Corpse) and mastering engineer Alan Douches (Dillinger Escape Plan, Hatebreed) Switchblade have ensured that they will no longer be shackled to the remote confines of the Australian metal scene, but viewed as a competitive rising force in metal worldwide.
