Svolk means kick ass. Especially in Trysil, the area of Norway the band has its origin, this is a common expression. Svolk punches hard without gloves and with a match weight of about 400 kg. For the last 3 years they have established themselves on the Norwegian rock-scene. Early in 2005 the band released its first EP Beast unleashed, recorded in Hangaroundsounds and engineered by Don Dons from We. This recording has received standing ovations all over the world.
