Bio: I write about the people that few want to acknowledge exist. We must love one another. We must understand their trials before we can love them. In doing so, we can light a path through their darkness to their salvation.

“Another Cry From Jackson Ave “This down home song has a lot of passion. The voice of the singer is strong and authentic to the southern region. The sound of this song has an essence of both country and blues infused into one. The guitar in the track is very impressive and intricate. You can tell the guitarist is quite experienced. The story the singer tells seems very personal. Every word the singer sings is filled with emotion. The tune will be a hit at live performances and country radio stations.””

Q: Plenty of things I desire to ask, but will stick to one thing. Have you lived any of your writing? Is any of it truth?

A: Thank you for your question and I would love to hear any other questions you have. :) I have based much of my writing on a single moment I have been part of or witnessed. I am influenced by the things I see, as we all are, and I strive to share stories of kind people who society sometimes "forgets." I have traveled throughout the United States and share many tales from the road in my writing. Street Corner Sadness is dedicated to a lady who was murdered in California. Mamaw's Kitchen is a tribute to some of the wonderful memories made in my grandmother's kitchen's as a child, as well as my co-writer, Kent BIlbrey's childhood. The Letter is about loss, obviously, but inspired by the story of someone I knew. Just Another Cry From Jackson Avenue is a historic recounting mixed with a little bit ghost story about downtown Knoxville. If there is a particular poem or song you would like to ask about, please let me know! Thanks again for your question and your support! :) <3
