Suffolk & Rain: www.facebook.com/pages/Suffolk-Rain/135069969863122 Suffolk & Rain are an original four piece band from Buffalo, New York. After different member changes the band formed in the spring of 2010. After a year of writing, rehearsing and electronic experimentation the band recorded their first EP in January of 2011. The group also expanded its touring capabilities, giving there live shows a unique dynamic. Pillow Queen: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pillow-Queen/172792739403908 Some stuff happened, and then there was a band, and then your brain melted. The Finality Complex: http://www.facebook.com/TheFinalityComplex A solo preforming project of Paul Burt, a classically-trained musician and composer. The Finality Complex is a chance to play the more intricate and niche sounds than his high-energy preforming electronic band, Digital Afterlife. The concept of a finality complex is the thought that the work or ideas of a person are forgotten at death, when there is inevitably some idea this person introduced to someone during his or her life that will continue to influence after death. The influence of a concept that is introduced at one point to the public, or just to a family line, will not stop its influence for the rest of history unless there is some conflict or generational gap where these ideas are lost. Then: WAZU, Third Realm, Digital Afterlife, & Black Lazer At: Filigrees (1121 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo) Doors open at 5:30 pm! $5 pre-sale, $6 door, All Ages :) WAZU: http://www.facebook.com/wazuland "Artists and bands like Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, and Bowie have forged and molded the sound of New Wave. WAZU refuses to have their efforts disappear. WAZU, an Australian/American glam/grunge/electronica/new wave duo based in New York City by way of Sydney, accepted the challenge of creating the New Wave sound for the next generation. Their EP walks the delicate line between New Wave and Dark Wave. The sounds which they create radiate a certain elegance." - Outside The Dial Third Realm: http://www.facebook.com/ThirdRealm Darkwave atmospheres, industrial beats and electronic sequences. Several radio stations and night clubs have featured Third Realm enabling the emotions of this sincere project to reach the souls of the underground community. Frequently labeled as the best kept secret of the Industrial scene, increased attention is sweeping towards Third Realm, which is the brainchild of Nathan Reiner. Nathan injects emotional experiences into tortured musical arrangements. Backed by the ability to create genuine moods through sound, Third Realm has also struck a cord with film producers landing songs in films such as 'A Perfect Fit' and 'DarkPlace'. An ongoing realization is currently in place as Third Realm continues to find its way into the hearts and speakers of people across the world! Digital Afterlife: http://www.facebook.com/DigitalAfterlife From Buffalo, NY, Digital Afterlife has begun with brothers Paul & Greg Burt. Crafting an alternative electronic sound with an industrial underlying, they spread the message of everyone surviving forever through the confides of the internet through their facebook, youtube, myspace. Each person's personality is imprinted into our technology, living longer than their physical beings, and leaving a lasting impression on all those to glace across their pages. Black Lazer: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Blue-Lazer/241091247712 (the dark side of Blue Lazer). After booking a show in Buffalo, NY, Blue Lazer crash landed on earth in the summer of 2006. Normally an instrumental electronic group, they soon learned that earthlings lacked the capacity to comprehend their jams without their faces being melted clean away. In order to mitigate against this unfortunate side effect the group’s leader found that if he verbally contextualized each song while the rest of the band played it, accidental audience mutilations could be cut nearly in half. Join Blue Lazer as they drain WNY of its resources… err… play music for money, which will eventually enable them to repair their intergalactic vessel and leave your puny backwater mud-ball behind forever! The Festival Of Blood Friday, November 2nd (8-10pm) & Saturday, November 3rd (2-10pm) at: Filigrees Gallery and Boutique 1121 Elmwood Ave Buffalo, NY 14222
