Subject to Loss / Press

“After forming in 2009 as an acoustic piece of two, they have grown in members and talent. Now with a growing fanbase, a great live performance and some amamzing music videos make Subject to Loss a band to check out! "Driven, Creative and Crazy as Hell!" "Melodic, Inspiring Rock & Roll"”

“I love the "Subject to Loss" video.”

Dead Timez Magazine

“How is it that rock music so frequently attracts seedy behavior? This has to be Mötley Crüe‘s fault, right? Actually rock’s infatuation with dirty deeds goes back much further than that, and it remains strong today. Local hard rockers Subject To Loss bring that sort of edge to the video for their song “Take Another,” alluding to–but never showing–drug deals, prostitution and more. Along the way you’re given a color-drained tour of SGF’s industrial district and other hard-luck-looking areas within the city, all interspersed with shots of the band rocking hard with fans in the midst of squalor. Director Alex Hernandez and Visual Lair Studios cleverly bring it all to the screen, carrying the song’s tension along the way. Check it out for yourself below, but be warned: The nefarious deeds may only be alluded to, but the boss-angering nefarious words are very much there.”

“SITTING DOWN WITH SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI ROCK BAND SUBJECT TO LOSS WAS LIKE HANGING OUT WITH OLD FRIENDS. THEIR EASY-GOING ATTITUDES AND APPRECIATIVE FRIENDSHIPS WERE OBVIOUS, ALONG WITH THEIR UNSHAKEABLE CONNECTIONS AND TRUE, HEARTFELT RESPECT AND ADMIRATION FOR ONE ANOTHER. ”
