Rollergirls Cara and Michelle, newbies to Durbs looking for a new team decided it was time to get Durbs involved in this great sport..and managed to find a bunch of ladies who love to skate, love to rock & roll, enjoy the good life & all those things that the sport entails... so Durban Derby was born, just a few months ago. W e are fund-raising to help get the team set up with new gear & skates, plus are very excited to eventually be able to host skate sessions with extra skates to teach underprivileged kids how to roll & just to give back to youngsters who maybe wouldnt have had an oppertunity to enjoy a different sport like this before. Decay Clothing presents CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE TOUR with Crossfire Collision (CT), Lowprofile and Strage ENTRY: TBC CROSSFIRE COLLISION (CAPE TOWN) Crossfire Collision is a melodic punk rock band based in Cape Town, South Africa. Veteran punks, slackers, skaters and surfers, the four musicians cut and broke their teeth jamming in local acts like The Doppler Effect, LPShow, Sweet Victory and A B Turbo. They regrouped as Crossfire Collision early in 2011 and recorded five fast, sing-along tracks, published as a self-titled EP. The songs are ins pired by fast shit like Pennywise, beautiful shit like Rise Against and local shit like stirring up a punk rock pit in a dark and grimy corner of Cape Town. During 2011 and early 2012, the band performed across the Cape Town scene and at the Rock the River New Years festival. They have attracted attention across the world, selling EPs to fans in North America, South America, Australia, the far east, Scandinavia, Europe and South Africa. The band recently featured on "The Grind" on Canada's PunkRadioCast.com and "The Danger Zone" on South Africa's Zone Radio. Crossfire Collision spent the past few months in the studio (and surfing in Indonesia) and are completing their first full length album, expected to hit the ground early in 2013.
