Still G - producer/lyricist/recording artist

Graeme (Still G) Johns has been performing on stage since the age of

seven. He made his musical debut playing percussion with the Reggae

band, Sundance, at a crowded Seattle venue. By the fourth grade,

Graeme was producing original music with the help of a drum machine,

keyboards and a four track recorder in order to perform in talent shows

with friends. From those days to these days, not many things change

with G. The name "Still G" came about because he's still the same guy

he's always been.

In 1996, Still G & his brother, known as Mystery One, formed the Hip Hop

group 4 THA RECORDZ. Their debut album entitled 'The Purification'

out-sold all Hip Hop albums in the Northwest region. In addition to local

publicity, this self produced album gained major label attention and radio

play on KUBE and KEXP.

With one member no longer in the group, the band later re-named

itself KRITICAL and recorded the full length album 'Material World'

from their studio. KRITICAL is currently on hiatus while members

pursue solo careers.

These days, Still G has gone back to his roots and is now focusing on

producing Reggae music. His debut solo album entitled 'Babylon' is

being recorded at his new studio and will be released on his indie label,

Grassrootz Recordz.

'Babylon' is 80 minutes of original Roots, Culture and Dub with a twist of

Hip Hop, recorded live, one track at a time by Still G. All of the songs have

a message behind the music and tell an unrestrained truth about today’s

society, yet leave the listener with a positive and peaceful vibe. In Still G’s

own words, "This record is dedicated to the struggle. Anyone that has

been done wrong by the system will understand exactly where I'm comin'

from". 'Babylon' is currently available as a digital-only release at www.grassrootzrecordz.com.

Still G is simultaneously working on his next project entitled 'Genre' which

will reveal his musical diversity with a mix of all original Reggae, Dub,

Hip Hop, R&B, Jazz and Rock songs, all with that signature Still G sound.
