About

Stewart Kenny is a singer-songwriter from Dublin who has previously fronted the Noonday Guns with fellow songwriter Ed Dore.  After recording a Noonday Guns EP, he moved on to begin writing and developing songs with his father Tommy Kenny and subsequently commenced with the recording of his first album.  Initial demo sessions took place at the Great Wall of Sound Studios in Harrington Street, Dublin. The sessions later moved to AP Studios in Kellystown, Co. Dublin where, working with renowned engineer Antimo Puca (who played piano on two tracks), Stewart and long-time collaborator/guitarist Barry Brennan completed the album in February 2009.  Many fine Dublin musicians also contributed to the recording of the album notably Shay Cosgrave and Eoin Melinn from Justin Corr and the Quicksand Band,  Robbie Stanley from Grades of Shade and guitarist/bassist Richie Adams.

The album entitled “I've fallen so far” contains a number of different styles and genres of music ranging from the Prince-like funk of “Tremble” to soulful ballads such as  “Lonely Room” “Over the edge” and the haunting title track: from the melodic rock of “Strange” and “All boats will rise” to the infectious pop of “Midnight sun” and “Seize the moment”.
