Steve has often been described by other musicians as having "big ears". While physically this may be an exaggeration, it is very accurate regarding his musical influences. Steve has spent years studying the great songwriters, a summer playing alongside a handful of blues legends in Chicago and continues to feed a hunger for experience, understanding, and the creation new music that moves the soul rather than simply filling the silence.
