Q: How old were you when you first started playing the banjo?

A: Hi Claudia! Nice to hear from you - and thanks for listening to my banjo sample music here on ReverbNation! I started playing banjo in college - I was looking to get into something new (musically) and happened to see someone who was selling her banjo (she lived at the co-op where I was living near campus) - I ended up buying it on a whim! I was probably about 21 years old at the time. I totally got into bluegrass music during college and even played in a couple of different bands (one that I started with a couple of friends of mine) - those were fun times! That's why I'm looking to join up with a bluegrass band again - mostly to recapture those fun times, playing in a good bluegrass band... :)
