Blending poetic introspective lyrics with sixties inspired musical arrangements and lush vocal harmonies, Steven Mark released his first cd, DISTRACTION, in the summer of 2004. It was named one of the finest recordings of the year by Hybrid Magazine. He followed that up in 2005 with the release of ALONEAPHOBE, a bittersweet chronicle of relationships. From there, he and his band went on to produce 2007’s RACING GREY. His latest album, ONE SMALL ROOM, contains his strongest and most stripped down work to date. Born and raised in Chicago, Steven Mark currently lives and performs in New York City. His music has appeared in Real World Hollywood and the film Long Term Relationship.
