Bio

I was born in 1957 and raised in Springburn, Glasgow, and despite getting older, I'm determined not to grow up if I can help it. Married with 2 mostly grown-up kids who kindly pretend not to be embarrassed that Dad sings.

I have a day job.

“...I've not joined a refugee support group yet, but I will. The Glasgow Campaign To Welcome Refugees seem to be quite a proactive bunch. They can be contacted at www. gctwr. org. uk. I have, however, downloaded the lyrics of a song about the refugees. It's by a Scottish chap called Steven Clark and it's called Coming Home. One verse is: "Open wide your arms/ Your sister's coming home/ Don't leave her standing there/ After all the pain she's known/ She's coming home, your sister's coming home." Part of the chorus reads: "Coming home to a family they have never known/ A' Jock Tamson's bairns are coming home." One way or another, I feel a Jock Tamson initiative coming on.”
