NUANCE Fall Mini-Fest: A Live Celebration of Art Rock Music Come celebrate the dynamic and dramatic visual change of the season with some dynamic and dramatic music.
(From hecfi.ca) THE WATCH is a 5 piece band from Milan, Italy. Their music is inspired by the classic style prog of the 70's and in particular by the music of Genesis. The band's first album, Ghost, was released in 2001, followed in 2004 by Vacuum and in 2007 by Primitive. In 2009 the band released it's first live album, called The Watch live. Melody and energy are the main features of The Watch music and live performance one of their strengths. All their energy and inspiration comes out on stage as a confirmation of how much they believe in what they do. The line up of the band has changed several times through the years. Simone Rossetti, founder and main composer is the singer of the band since the very start. Since the end of 2008, according to Simone Rossetti the band has it's best line up ever and activity is growing all the time. Steve Cochrane, Rob Adlers and Ken Baird will be opening for The Watch
Live performance has become a rare occurrence for me over the past year or two, so if you'd like to catch me and my band in action, this show is not to be missed. Friday October 22nd, I will be opening for Italian band The Watch at Hamilton Place Studio Theatre. Along with Richard on drums and Chris on bass, Ken Baird has graciously offered to play keys for this show. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.
