Q: Hey man, Im an alabama guy and I have started producing DnB and ambient chillout over the past year. I was just wanting to ask you what advice you may have for a n00b and any tips or pointers you have
A: my suggestion is this: DnB should be played in the tempo range of 160 to 180 is the best but i find 175 is best. Also, get a good mix!!! this is very very important! and finally master your music, i use T Raxx mastering suites. Get yourself a couple of books on mastering and mixing, trust me it will make a huge difference. one last thing: think outside the box!!! hope this helps and good luck!
