Stephanie's inspirational Celtic Christmas Tour begins this weekend.  Backed by her 70-string band, Stephanie will be performing a series of 8 concerts around New Brunswick:

  • Tuesday, Dec 1 [Rothesay] St. James the Less Church (Taylor College fundraising dinner & concert)
  • Sunday, Dec 6 [ Apohaqui] Atlantic Community Church
  • Friday, Dec 11 [Saint John] CBC Information Morning 'Christmas at the City Market' (Accompanied by the FLO string ensemble and streamed live around the world over the internet - click here to go to the site and then bookmark it so you can listen live between 6-8:30am Atlantic Standard Time.  Please note:  Stephanie will premier a new Christmas song on the live show.

Stephanie Mainville - Out of Nowhere Tour

Out of Nowhere has been out for two months now, and Stephanie has been touring around New Brunswick performing a series of launch concerts.
 
Here are a few of the highlights:
 
[Moncton] Oct 2:  Music NB Showcase @ Contact East (accompanied by Kevin Fox & Lydia Mainville)
[Saint John] Oct 30:  170 people came out to The Blue Olive for a great night of music and celebration
[Fredericton] Nov 6/7:  A 3rd show was added at The Schnitzel Parlour after the first 2 shows sold out quickly.  It was a wonderful weekend of fine music and fine dining with 10% of food sales donated to the Fredericton Food Bank.
[Moncton] Nov 19: Studio 7 Hundred

The Out of Nowhere Tour will resume in the new year with dates in PEI, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.

 

2010 Winter Olympics


Stephanie will be headin' out west to Vancouver in February to perform at various locations during the 2010 Winter Olympics.  Venues and dates will be released as the details are confirmed.

For those of you in the Saint John area, Stephanie will be performing at the Olympic Torch Relay Celebrations as it arrives in Saint John on Tuesday evening, November 24.  Click here for details

 
 
 

Stephanie's debut album released in 2004 introduced her abilities as a multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer/arranger, performer and songwriter. A project that started out as a demo, while remaining a low-budget recording, generated interest and support from established industry professionals and world-class studio musicians and performers. The result was an album that received a total of 8 award nominations and won 3 awards. Nominations include:

Stephanie has appeared in official showcases at the Junos, the Canadian Country Music Awards, the ECMAs, and Music New Brunswick Week. Her crystal-clear voice and her fusion of classical violin and traditional Celtic fiddle playing has earned her featured artist and nominee status at the ECMAs, GMA Canada's Covenant Awards, the Shai Awards (Canada's “People's Choice Awards" for Gospel music), and the New Brunswick Gospel Music Hall of Fame's Mercy Awards.
