About
Born and raised in Billerica, Massachusetts, singer-songwriter STEPHANIE JACOBSON is a former Catholic schoolgirl whose musical tastes and fashion sense just never quite fit in. In true charming misfit style, she picked up a guitar at the age of thirteen and has been writing and recording ever since, completing her first ep in 2003. An impressive debut, Consciously Pathetic ep combined the 90s rock elements she grew up hearing with a modern female pop rock style. Her follow up in late 2006, Three Chord Love ep, is a testament to her continued inspiration from heartbreak, sarcasm, humor and hope, as well as solid evidence of artistic growth.
Stephanie has also lent her musical talents to recordings by The Flying Tourbillon Orchestra, as heard on L.A.'s Indie 103.1, and folk/pop outfit The Fast Sails. Both Consciously Pathetic and Three Chord Love were produced by Ted Comerford (Scott Simons, Zox, Colorslide) and mixed by Paul David Hager (Avril Lavigne, Goo Goo Dolls, Pink), and are currently available on iTunes.
