Welcome! I'm Stefani Scovolo...a songwriter writing for other artists, a pop recording artist writing for myself plus Tv/film , and a vocal session singer. I am originally from Houston, Texas where I attended The High School for Performing and Visual Arts and then going on to study Music Business & Marketing receiving a degree from Belmont University in Nashville,TN where I spent 6 years. I have also lived in New York City and now am based in Los Angeles! I am known as a songwriter more recently for my songwriting for Teen pop artists and am trying to write for several right now on Jive Records,Hollywood Records, Interscope,and more. I have a knack at songwriting,recording vocals for Teen pop and pop rock. I write lyrics and melody plus I can record my own vocals into Protools and am familiar with the software. I write with various top producers around the world including Chris Landon (LA) who worked with Jennifer Paige; Mikal Blue (LA) who worked with Colbie Caillat; and have recently connected on cowriting with Jarl Aanestad (Norway) EMI Pub; Paolo Dughero (Italy) Warner Chappell; and possible collaborations with several other producer/writers around the world for Film/TV placements including AC Pop and Electro Pop which will enable me to show what I can do as a Recording Artist myself. I do vocals for hire and particularly get requested for Pop Rock and Teen Pop , but I can change my voice into a more mature sound as well depending on the needs. I can also sing with a twang if need be! Hey, Im from TX and TN! I am an *independent* artist and songwriter and have *not signed* any exclusive deals with any company or anyone yet. I have secured a few TV placements on my own with MTV, ABC Family, KTLA Channel 5, Nick. I recently met Brian Rawlings who was VP Music Publishing at Walt Disney Company and now has a very innovative company. I was at the West Coast Songwriters Conference and he heard my song "Where Do I Fit In" which impressed him and led to a great connection. It is nice to begin to know Brian and I hope to have some success together. I am interested in knowing more experienced and also hit songwriters here in LA to build a better network here and build a stronger community. I miss that from Nashville. So, I started my own songwriter round called Stefani Scovolo Songwriter Round. So far I have had great talent playing such as Alissa Moreno ("Everyday" Rascal Flatts cowritten with Jeffrey Steele), Shari Short ("This Is The Life" Hannah Montana on her show), Lindsay Vinarsky (Bug Windswept Music), Tim Fagan (cowrites with Colbie Caillat,John Mayer),Will Champlin, and more!!
