Most of the six members of Stealing Jane started their musical careers in the dive bars of the North Shore of Long Island. After playing marathon length cover sets for over five years, the band reinvented itself in 2007 as an original pop-rock group. Stealing Jane left the bar scene with a strong understanding of pop music, and a vigilant desire to create something really new, and accessible to listeners of all walks of life. The smooth vocals of singer Bryce Larsen, who cites influences such as Dave Grohl, Elvis Costello, Frank Sinatra, and Stevie Wonder, combined with the alternative rock sound of the rhythm section is accented by brass to create a truly unique flavor.
