STATION 23 Songwriter’s Erika Weander & Pete Romano received the BEST NEW SINGER-SONGWRITER award from the SONGWRITER’S HALL OF FAME on March 23rd in New York City hosted by BillBoard Magazine and the National Association of Popular Music. Lead vocalist Erika Weander was recognized by The United States of America and received the Congressional Bronze Medal of Honor for her community service for events such as The Moscow Peace Marathon in Russia and the People to People Tour in Washington D.C. Station 23 crosses musical borders by blending the strings of acoustic folk, the vigor of contemporary pop and the latitude of modern rock. Station 23 has been described as “Honest, Evocative and an Engaging Fresh New Sound,” By Roberta Zlokower from On the Arts in NYC. “They can really Rock with “Rock” says Gary Stephens from the Associated Press.
