Static Sun is the music project of Scott Fox. Scott is deeply involved in the Edmonton music scene as:

1. Static Sun

2. DJ Dervish spinning nights such as Das OOntz and Bitch Bitch Bitch. Scott does the majority of his work through a nightclub called New City Suburbs in Edmonton Canada. You can google these nights/club pretty easily.  Scott is also a show promoter.

3. White Noise Studio and Electronic Recording Arts Program.  As the owner/operator/teacher, Scott has kept the studio constantly active sinced its opening in 2007. White Noise Studio works closely in conjunction with Powersound Studio, also located in Edmonton.

Static Sun is looking for talented singers to record songs for the next studio album. Idealy, I would like to have a different voice on each song so that each piece has its own charm and character. I am mostly interested in female vocals but I am not opposed to a solid/smooth male vocal. If you are interested in the opportunity, contact me.

The influences behind Static Sun are varied and many, ranging from bands like Portishead and Massive Attack to outfits than have a much more agressive sound.
