“Recently, I’ve been reviewing a lot of fantastic bands from the United Kingdom, and Bournemouth’s States of Matter has become my newest English obsession. Formed in 2011, this modern rock band has already released a record, been reviewed by some recognized radio stations, and played a ton of shows in their local area. Big things are definitely coming for this band, and today, I decided to take some time to check out some of their newest recordings. States of Matter has a diverse sound that really sets them apart from a lot of current rock bands. Of course, the great musicianship, solos, and bass lines are all there, but what really elevates States of Matter above everyone else is their ability to combine great hooks with their instrumental proficiency. Every single one of their new tracks could easily be heard on the radio, but could also impress anyone who appreciates a good guitar solo.”
