The Starlite DeVilles are an Alt.-Country/Pop Rock band based out of Athens, GA. Their sound draws on influences of the pure twang of traditional country to the defiant punk and pop stylings of bands like the Replacements. The band formed during the recording of Gregory's solo record at Tootle's studio. Keith Fowler, who along with Gregory founded the alt.-country band Twain, came in to do some guitar work. Shortly thereafter, Tootle (The Cooler Heads, The Help, and The Wide Stance) was brought from behind the soundboard to bass, and Rich Stepanski was added on drums.
