“Fabulous chilled house and nu-jazz. Events is a collection of new material by two composers now producing for a wider audience and is a dream to my ears.”

“Great work here..... superb Electronica, reminiscent of Pete Namlook. Wondrously rich synths, interspersed with soothing piano melodies, uplifting beats and spacious orchestration - perfect to drift away to. "Contact" is a particular highlight for me - amongst many other great pieces. Fantastic work by a very talented artist.”

“Chillout through to more Ambient – that´s how both artists describe their music. And they´re right – as well as people may think of Dreamhouse while listening to the opener „Reflections“. The truth is somewhere in the middle of both styles – maybe caused by the way this album was made: UK producer Mark Dorricott sent his originals tracks to austrian electronic producer Stan Dart to reinterpret them and create these chilled arrangements which are sometimes accompanied by discreet beat patterns. In the end this combination causes the listener to stick to the album till the end. (Translated by Stan Dart)”

“Stan Dart an Austrian producer and Mark Dorricott a UK based musician/songwriter have come together on their first album ‘Events‘. The album has been released by German record label Schalldeluxe. The album is called ‘Events‘ due to the random nature how people can meet over the net, that would not just happen in real life. The world is a much smaller place these days… Stan has remixed Mark‘s original works into some club inspired chillout through to more ambient numbers. Taking the original material and rearranging it, adding new sounds, melodies and rhythms to create something from a new fresh perspective. The full album is available to buy via iTunes, Amazon and all other major online stores.”

“Here’s some chilled-out bliss for your Monday beginnings, a remix of Ann Grace’s serene “Calling Dreams” courtesy of Austria-based Stan Dart. Dart began composing electronic music in 2009, initially just for fun. But tracks like this one and the woodwind-accompanied folklore-ish “Sea of Tranquility” make it easy to see why he turned it into a more serious effort. “Sea of Tranquility” is a pleasant combination of twinkles and synth-inclined woodwinds that plays like an anthem of elves from Lord of the Rings, while “Calling Dreams” is a bouncier effort with a glistening futuristic feel, courtesy of chopped-up angelic vocal samples and a house-influenced build-up. There’s no climatic bass drop or whirring exhilaration typical of dubstep; “Calling Dreams” is just a no-frills electronic composition that gets atmosphere right without being derivative.”

“Zurück in die Zeiten des Dreamhouse der 1990er. Wer sich Mark Dorricotts und Stan Darts neustes Werk «Events» (Schalldeluxe) vornimmt, wähnt sich beim ersten Song gleich mal um 17 Jahre zurückversetzt. In die Hohezeiten des Dreamhouse. Denn der «Midnight Remix» von «Reflections», mit dem das Album startet, könnte durchaus aus der Feder von Robert Miles stammen.”
