Splinter Town is an Alternative rock band that formed in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2010.

The band achieved early success with their debut single Broken Sky getting radio play nationally and internationally.

Early in 2010 the band (previously known as Yellowflag) reached the semi finals of Jacaranda 94.2fm's Demostation competition sharing the stage with big name bands such as Nic Dinnie Trio and Dr Victor and the Rasta Rebels.
