the me me's , born in january 2007,after originally "the pesky critters".sparky and bini were invited to a gig late 2006 at the lord clyde in south shields,with the prospect of joining the band. the critters needed "a spark",and that's where drummer sparky came from.about mid 2007,davy madcat joined the band .madcats talents were just what the me me's needed and off they went in their search for happiness.the me me's were now made up of a bunch of old friends from long ago who'd travelled along throughout their long musical careers searching for contentment,and had now been brought together by nothing other than fate

.30.9.09 hi all, unfortunately due to recent events we've had to cancel our gigs at the red hackle in jarrow this saturday,and the station in killingwoth the following saturday,as our original singer has thrown in the towel.
,just to keep you up to speed on what's happening in the me me camp.as of yesterday,we have an official new frontman,craig bankhead. craig's been in rehearsals with us over the last two weeks,and should be ready in a fortnight or so. the rest of the gigs for this year will go ahead with craig.
in the new year we're going into the studio to cut another c.d ,and our diary for next year is filling up really fast,so if you'd like us at a venue near you ,catch us quick.
