Bio
Lisa was born in Southern Utah, home of red rocks, dutch oven cooking, and singing from mountain tops. She studied music, briefly, but could not resist the call ... she left school to follow her dreams and create her own original music. Her inspiration comes from her family, her personal losses, and her determination in being grateful and peaceful in spite of life's obstacles.

Lisa the Mac
Lisa Macfarlane emerged in 2007 as a powerhouse of popular music. Her style of music creation is very independent - she recorded her first album by herself on a mac laptop. "I like to have control, and I don't like people telling me what to do," Lisa commented on recording her first album. "I worked with a producer once, and the song sounded like something that would play on the radio, but I felt that they stripped all the character and soul out of my voice... I would rather have my voice sound as it really is."
In 2009 the album 'Diosa' became available on iTunes, Rhapsody, and iLike. And there was much rejoicing.
This year, Lisa has been performing at Jazzy Java and planning bigger better shows. She is currently forming a band, looking for new band members, and planning her wedding.
