“On Saturday, local groups and DJ's will band together for better days. "All for All" will feature popular pop music spinners DJ Demko, Lance "DJ" Creole" Miller, southern rock act Southern Lush, punk act Madewell and others. The nine hour event starts at 2pm Saturday at the Doghouse, 1101 S. Detroit Ave., in downtown Tulsa, Skateboards are welcome. Artists will also feature their wares, organizers said. Skateboard ramps and rails are provided by Quickie Mart. Proceeds and donations will go to the Oklahoma Medical Reasearch Foundation, an independant, nonprofit biomedical research institute dedicated to understanding and developing more effective treatments for human diseases. "OMRF" is a unique organization because the scientists there come from all over and are working on so many different diseases," Miller said. "We want to have fun and give local bands a place to perform. When you put them together, it's a pretty nice fundraising opportunity for OMRF."”
