Demetrius J. Elmore is his birth name, but the people donned him Versitile aka Verse, a name chosen for his uncanny ability to rock the mic and keep the heads banging in the industry.  He gets mad respect for his music, poetry and writing skills.  His unique style includes mastering the art of rock, hip hop and r&b as well as country music.

A gifted performer as well as artist, Versitile has been known as a crowd pleaser and his willingness to perform on the spot for avid audiences.  He has performed at countless venues throughout the Midwest and opened for such artists as, Keyshia Cole, Floetry, Drew Sidora and countless others.

Versitile is quoted as saying, “Where I’m from, An African American is expected to fail.  In life, it is a blessing if one survives the trials and tribulations of the hood.  For me personally, I’m blessed because I look at life like a puzzle – it’s the pieces that you put together that gives you your view of life.  I carry this perception as my outlook on life and this drives me to defeat the struggles placed before me.  ‘Cause life ain’t never been easy; I just push past the nonsense and keep rolling.”
