Sonorous Odium is a melodic death metal band based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Born in the minds of three musicians in early summer 2006, the trio strived to discover a unique sound. The band uses the combination of twin melodic guitars with a driving rhythm line to create a powerful force of music. Incorperating elements from Scandinavian death metal, black metal, and doom metal, Sonorous Odium captures the erie beauty and extreme brutality of canorous metal.
