“The Maine Children's Home for Little Wanderers will be holding an outdoor concert on Saturday, August 15, at the Colby College Band Shell.The concert,featuring seven bands and all different kinds of music, will start at 2:00 p.m. and end at 6:00. There will be rock and roll, country, blues, and swing. This is a family afternoon. Bring your chair or blanket and enjoy. Advance tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for children 6-12. Admission is free for children 5 and under. The concert is a fundraiser to support the programs of The Maine Children's Home, which include Adoption, Mental Health Counseling, Teen Parent School Program, Early Education and Childcare, the Christmas Program and the Summer Camp Scholarship Program.
